Team Building Activities - Conversation Guides
FAQs About The Team Building Activities
Are these team building activities for in-person meetings or remote team meetings?
Either. There's a Remote Teams section on each document so that you can adapt the conversation to suit your remote teams, face-to-face teams, and mixed locations.
Are these team building activities for staff meetings, 1:1 meetings, or team offsites?
They are mostly for staff meetings, although some include recommendations for additional 1:1 conversations. Although they'll make great conversations for team off-site meetings, they're not the traditional "trust fall" type of activities where you need physical materials or physical activity. Of course, you can adapt them to meet your needs.
Do these team building activities require CliftonStrengths or other assessments?
No. They're an excellent compliment, but are not mapped directly.
Who should lead these activities? Do we need a professional facilitator?
No professional facilitator is necessary. They are intended to be conversation guides that keep your team building alive. We made them so that you can do quick, DIY team activities throughout the year.
How much preparation is involved? I don't have a lot of extra time.
You're in luck. These are one-pagers. They're designed to be simple and easy to use. Each guide links you to a resource you can send the team (either a PDF or web page). It gives you the materials and a "set up script" to help you set up the concept with your team. It will take you about 10 minutes to read it and make the messaging your own.
