When You Join Us For This 90-Minute Virtual Training

You’ll walk away with a fresh perspective on constructive feedback. Often, people admit that they “save up” feedback. They’re hoping to find the right words. Or they’re waiting to confirm that the bad behavior is a trend. Or they’re stalling until they find the right moment. Interestingly, this often backfires. It turns into an accidental-mind-reader-expectation: you’ve been mulling it over for days, and you can’t believe that they’re not getting it. Meanwhile, they’re oblivious that you’re annoyed.

Feedback has so many land mines. It can be tricky. You want to be caring, yet you want to get your point across. You want to be clear, yet you don’t want to make the other person angry (or lead them to quit).

In this session, led by Lisa Cummings, we’ll help you:

1) feel more comfortable with how to structure the feedback conversation

2) avoid the most common pitfalls, including our famous “bamboozle sandwich.”

Note: our resources lean heavily on your CliftonStrengths Assessment results. Can you attend if you’ve never done StrengthsFinder? Yes. Will it be better if you have your Top 5 results? Yes.

About Your StrengthsFinder Facilitator

She’s the owner and founder of Lead Through Strengths (both the company and the podcast of the same name). She’s the primary facilitator for your live, StrengthsFinder virtual training events. She has delivered events to over 20,500 participants in 14 countries, yet today you’ll meet her almost exclusively on camera, in a virtual training room. She first took the assessment as a team building event with a team she managed – and it changed her people-approach forever.

She has been delivering virtual training for 14 years, so she has total comfort in this sometimes uncomfortable medium.

You can see her featured in places like Harvard Business Publishing, Training Magazine, and Forbes. With an MBA and experience as a corporate executive, she brings you a practical approach, focused on business results. With her creative and fun-loving style, she makes your big performance goals feel personable and attainable.
